new home
Welcome to the new place! How do you like it so far?
As I described in a post over on Substack, which you should have received if you're signed up for emails, or maybe in your Substack feed, I'm moving the blog to this new site, notesfornobody.ghost.io. And here we are!
So, partially repeating what I posted over at Substack:
- All future posts are going to come from this address, notesfornobody.ghost.io. You may wish to add it to your address book to keep it from going to the spam folder. (I don't know anyone who actually does that, but it seems to be something people say.)
- If you are a paid subscriber, thank you again. Your paid subscription should have been migrated over and should auto-renew at the same rate on the anniversary date. You should not be charged further by Substack for my blog; if that happens, something went wrong. Please let me know so I can work it out.
To manage your subscription on Ghost, click on the "Sign in" button on the notesfornobody.ghost.io homepage. They will send a log-in link to your email.

- Those of you who are not paid subscribers - feel free to climb on board! You can subscribe by going to the same notesfornobody.ghost.io home page and clicking subscribe. Or you can click this handy button:
- If you prefer to read posts on the website rather than in email, the address is, yep, notesfornobody.ghost.io. You can bookmark that now. All of the old posts from Substack are here as well.
- There is not a Ghost app, so far as I know, so if any of you use the Substack app you will have to read posts in your regular browser, at least for now.
- I'm still figuring out formatting tools (like numbering, obviously!), so apologies for the work-in-progress look of certain things. To be honest, Ghost seems a little less built-out than Substack (e.g., no app), or possibly I just don't know how to find things. I'm optimistic that the experience will get better.
The main point is: I'm glad you're here. I appreciate your patience with this. As long as you got this email, everything seems to be working right so far, so off we'll go together.
Thanks again,
Chris.
